I love it! Great curries, great coffees, great decore and zillions of books on every wall. I can just go there by myself and grab a book and read while I coffee away my Sunday arvo. Claudia is really cool and they make these excellent curry sauces so I can go home and cook just like them.

It’s got a nice feel to the place, the food is good and a little bit different, the service was a little unfriendly, but I’ve been back twice and recommend it.

I had the passionfruit cake there the other day and it was delicious.

Might try the hummingbird cake next time.

Elephant Boy is great all year round with excellent coffee, snacks, lunches and dinners. Even great takeaway curries but to sit inside on a cool Autumn or cold Winter’s day and have their fabulous curries is about as good as it gets.

I agree! The curries are the best in the Highlands. They warm a gal’s heart. The curry sauces are delicious and I have just bought one to take hone and try for myself… Now that’s impressive as I am not too adventurous in the kitchen but with these sauces, even I can’t go wrong.

Great ambience with eclectic artefacts and books festooned around all walls. Service, while friendly, could be better. Our waitress brought the wrong drinks leaving us feeling awkward and obliged to have them. The food however was excellent. Well worth a visit if you are looking for good coffee, a place to converse and some comfort eating.
