The Snowies, including Mount Kosciuszko make up Australia's highest mountain range, with snow falls in the area from june to september annually.

The area is well known for its higher altitude attractions, being a hugely popular winter destination for skiers, snowboarders and anyone keen for some fresh powder, but the Snowy Mountains are rich in natural beauty and vibrant towns all year round.

Jindabyne, located at the bottom of the Snowy Mountains ski fields (Perisher, Threadbo, Blue Cow) is a vibrant town that embraces winter. A dedicated snow radio station keeps you up to date and regular events in and around the mountains make the Snowies fun for everyone.
