There are several events each year including the Annual Bush Traditions Gathering, a long weekend of music, dance, song and spoken word celebrating an Australian tradition, the Annual Goulburn Lilac City Festival is Australia's longest continuously-run community festival and the Australian Blues Music Festival is held on the second weekend of February every year in a variety of venues throughout the historic town.
