Went to this wine bar on Sunday afternoon for a coffee and a bite to eat.
The menu for mid afternoon consisted of a variety of light snacks or meals, with no sweets offered.
My husband and I were served by a waitress and ordered our coffees. The waitress was very non-personality-plus. She gave us the impression she was there simply to do her job and no more. Not long after a waiter came up and wanted to take our order, I ordered smoke salmon brushchetta and explained that the waitress had our drink order, he seemed a bit miffed by this.
Don’t get me too wrong the service was prompt and polite, but nothing more, no personality offered. And when I got my bruschetta, overbrimming with smoked salmon (yum) there was no cutlery in sight. I had to ask for some and felt a little bit like I was putting them out.
Add to this the dark and somewhat gloomy interior for a sunny day outside and we didn’t really enjoy our visit, hubby especially did not feel comfortable.
Coffee was palatable, but I have had better.
