I was amazed. It was one of the best political speaches I have heard. It was moving, well thought through and authentic. It’s amazing how powerfull communications can be when men get away from the politics and posturing and get to the heart of the matter. It’s good to see a politician show a little largesse. Very dissapointing not to see Howard at the speach, shows what a mean spirited man he was. It’s 2008 we all have too much it’s about time we all got a little less mean.

I now actively seek out evironmentally frinedly products and I am prepard to pay more for genuinely friendly products. There is a not of scams out there, too many products pretend to be environmental when they are not. I think the best thing we can all do is just consume less stuff. I now only buy things if I am going to throw something else out. It’s been liberating – I hardly ever shop and buy way less.
