Wow, this must certainly take the title for worst dating show ever. My kids were watching it so I joined them – what a mistake! The set is good but the rest is dull. Last night a male model started with 26 available girls and after a couple of short outtakes about him he was left with only 2 girls still interested in dating him. He looked crushed. It would have been funny if it hadn’t been so bad. Any one else watched it?

You think you are tragic Simon- I watched the second series on the same weekend I bought my iphone and locked myself away for the whole weekend- really pathetic! However, I love it – love the gore, the blood or should I say lack of it. The sister grated a bit but I managed to tolerate her!

I bought my own house about 8 months ago now and spent probably 3 months looking on and off. By the time you have ascertained your area and price range you are pretty much able to pick the value of the house to within $5k .It is really interesting how agents underestimate peoples ability to do this and try to convince you that the house is worth a lot more than you know it is. I too was really unemotional about the purchase as I knew if I didn’t get this one another would come along..however this house has turned out better than I thought. Just make sure if you decide to renovate you know just how much hard work and time has to go into it- moving is exhausting enough without trying to take on more than you can cope with.

I have to say, I love this show – I am always in awe of what the human body can do when it works at such a high level . Their sheer muscle control amazes me – so much time and effort goes into their craft – I have such admiration for the mind set that gets them there.

I agree Carolyn. Whilst I do not believe in a God per say I still have my own spiritual beliefs. However, as an adult I have made that decision after many years of soul searching. Therefore I think that the only way our children can grow into non judgemental, broad minded individuals is to be exposed in a completely objective manner to all the different religions and their beliefs. Once we give respect to those with differing beliefs we can then place value on them.

In the US you can also get “half and half” a mix of half milk and half cream. This is used instead of straight milk and very popular. Easy to get at the supermarket. Wonder why everyone is getting so fat?? Forget the skim milk – lets go all out – condensed milk or cream!

I have to agree – this season has been boring. I do laugh though when i think back to Kyle and Jackie O announcing to the world on their morning radio show that they would turn the show around- well they achieved their goal – but probably not in the direction they were anticipating. Gretel must be smiling!!

I think this is fantastic – well done Network Video for your community support.
I took my 16 year old daughter into Kings Cross on Sunday Morning and she helped me work in a Soup Kitchen distributing food to the less fortunate. We spent 5 hours there setting up the meals, buttering bread etc and then fed over 200 people in 1.5 hours. What an incredible cross section of the community she saw. She really enjoyed the experience and wants to do it more often. Now my younger kids are also wanting to do it. I am planning on making enquiries to see where we can help out on a monthly basis.
Has anyone any contacts or people they know of that need volunteers to help with this type of thing?
