Taree is a large town on the mid-north coast.  We have a number of events each year, such as the NSW Rowing Association's Rowing Regatta, the Easter Powerboat Classic which is held on the Manning River, the Taree Gold Cup horse racing, and the Taree Show in October.

There's lots to do around Taree, from beaches to bush walking in the National Parks.  Waitui Falls is a great spot for a picnic, and there are many lookouts in the surrounding hills.
