Forbes is located in the Lachlan Valley, west of Sydney.

We have many annual events, such as camel racing and jazz festivals.  A great place to relax is Lake Forbes, which has cycleways and picnic grounds to enjoy.

Also of interest is the Forbes Historical Museum where you can see relics of the bushranger Ben Hall, a photographic of the area, as well as a history of the local indigenous people.
