Barossa Valley

The Barossa Valley is one of Australia’s major wine regions, and is situated 60km north-east of Adelaide. The wine tradition in the area is celebrated with several events, including the Barossa Valley Vintage Festival, which attracts visitors from across the globe. Food production is another celebrated aspect of the Barossa Valley, with a number of butchers, bakers and cheesemakers producing many traditional German foods. The Barossa Valley offers many other attractions, with a number of art galleries and museums across the region.

The Barossa Valley can be reached along the Sturt Highway.
