This beautifully decorated and well maintained town, lies in the heart of one of the richest food producing areas of Australia.
Known as The Heart of Sunrice Country, Leeton is Australia's Rice capital being home to the SunRice headquarters. Citrus, grapes, wheat and beef are other thriving industries. Needless to say our restaurants and cafes serve excellent fare. Leeton was one of the first planned towns in this area and was designed by Walter Burleigh Griiffin.
Our SunRice festival held at easter biennially and our Agricultural show is held in October. Come along and see what we have to offer!
