An Aussie friend of mine has been telling me for month about this Mexican Restaurant in Manuka. I finally decided to visit last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. We ordered REAL Margaritas (not the crappy frozen kind but the real bitter tasting margs, although they did have frozen). We then had a beef nachos and a spicy quesadilla (and the waitress was able to pronounce it). Nachos were good but the quesadilla and chipotle sauce which was delicious. For mains we ordered the prawn fajitas (which were pretty good but dont expect to get lucky as there was lots of onion) the albondigas (mouthwatering!!!!!!!) a beef chimichanga (which was good and not over cooked) and vegetarian enchiladas (which werent filled with beans but potato and spinach and feta cheese). The service was very attentive without being over the top fake (which is quite common if manuka). Will definitely be back!! My only request is that they put tamale’s on the menu!!

My boyfriend and I love Mexican food but until we found this place our options were sadly limited in Canberra. Love the fajitas, the chipotle mayonnaise is sooooo good, the quesadillas are great (and, as foodlover21 says: they can pronounce it!!) and the sangria is spot-on. It tastes like they even make their own tortillas. Best of all the food is obviously really fresh. The service is good too. We’ve eaten here a few times and always leave very full and happy, and have also had take-away which was great too. Any chance of a tortilla soup for winter guys? :)

Bad service, same old crap, only a shade better than Montezumas, avoid!
