Armidale is a small city known for its four seasons and cathedrals.  We are the home of the University of New England and the Annual Wool Fashion Awards which showcases the use of Merino wool by fashion designers.

There are many other local community groups listed in our Armidale Community Directory so there is always something available for everyone.  We host many events including the Peter Allen Festival featuring a gala dinner, talent quests and Peter Allen look alike competition, plus the Annual Wool Expo where you can come and enjoy shearing and yard dog trial competitions along with wool fashion and handicrafts.
